FlowPoll — Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026.
FlowPoll lets you answer short, paid opinion polls while you use AI chat tools (e.g. ChatGPT) and in supported editors. This policy explains what the FlowPoll browser extension and service collect.
What we store
- Your FlowPoll access token, which you paste yourself. It is stored locally in your browser's extension storage on your device.
- Your poll responses: the poll's id, the option you chose, and how long you took to answer.
- Optional profile you provide in your account (e.g., interests, languages) to receive relevant polls.
What we send
To the FlowPoll API (over HTTPS): your token, the poll id, your chosen option, and your response time — only to record your answer and credit your account.
What we DO NOT collect
We never read, store, or transmit your conversations, prompts, messages, page text, code, files, browsing history, or any content from ChatGPT or any website. The extension only detects when the AI is generating a response (to time the poll) and shows the poll UI. No page content is accessed or sent.
How we use data
Solely to operate the poll and reward service: show you relevant polls, record answers, compute quality/anti-fraud signals from your answer timing, and pay your earnings. We do NOT sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness.
Retention & deletion
Your responses are linked to a pseudonymous account id. You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.
